I learned that the most well-known kopitiam in Bandar Puteri, Puchong, is Oriental Kopi, which opened in 2021. Since my family and I were eating dim sum at Bandar Puteri Puchong, I was told that this is currently the longest queue in Bandar Puteri Puchong, especially the breakfast till lunchtime! My mother and I arrived around 3 p.m., there were already less people in the queue...
Polo Bun and Egg tart are Oriental Kopi's signature delicacies. They also sell their own brands, such as bottles of sambal sauce, traditional pandan or kaya jam, tea, and white coffee boxes.
When I bit into this egg tart, I realised there was a lot of egg within because it was so soft to bite! When you go to the cashier, which is close to this spot, you can observe how the staff bakes the egg tart in front of you. Also mentioned is that Egg Tart is the best and thickest, surpassing the Malaysia Book of records! They also won the International taste Institute Award 2021 in Brussels too!
This signature nasi lemak includes Fried Chicken Thigh, eggs, homemade sambal, and an aromatic infused with 8 different spices - a truly remarkable oriental kopi dish. Normally, a hard boiled egg usually served with nasi lemak, right? Every rice or noodle dish has a poached egg! As a result, the poached egg has become a signature dish for the Oriental Kopi.
