Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver who embarks on a journey into a parallel world to become a wizard in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and adopts many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit this new world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies. Little does Oliver know but he was predestined to save this parallel world from the grasps of an evil power that will stop at nothing to thwart his quest to save his mother.
When I watched this trailer, I felt like this design similar as Totoro from Studio Ghibli! Many people really like this story, and also give the best rating to make this game become top of PS3 games on this year!
While Oliver is adventuring new world, he uses a magic book to summon other fairies to help him on adventures. This strategy battle introduces a catch-drive way as similar to Pokemon, as creature after creature joins your quest there to be fed, petted, leveled up and used in increasingly complex strategic battles. You simply will not be able to level up one familiar and beat the game with him. You are forced into switching them out almost constantly in order to take out some difficult foe.
The characters and environment are charming and will keep you in the heart of the story. The most interesting parts are generally the full anime cutscenes, like it is a real beauty of an RPG anime! They did their great job to create a beautiful gaming experience designed for you to spend hours exploring so enjoyable!
It released in January 25, 2013 in Asia Pacific, available for Nintendo DS and PlayStation 3. Please visit the official website: http://ninokunigame.com/
If I buy new PS3, I am sure that I'll play this game!
