Summary: A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, “Real Steel”. Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son, Max to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
My dad wants to watch this movie, I bought the tickets for him and sister too. Before this movie started, I thought that this movie will be like Transformer. But, it is very great story than Transformer movie because it get deliver the meaning about hardworking to make them never give up, it make us touched with Charlie and Max's relationship while they are on the journey to success!
OMG! Zeus is a big Generation-3 and Atom is more of a G-2. They started with Generation 1, the first part of humanoid robots... Atom looks as normal robot that different than cool champion, Zeus. He also have the shadow mode because it is used as practice of training only. Max always believe in himself, he still never give up unlike his dad. I think that he raised by his mom who passed away. That is why he grew up alone and become clever than his dad. His dad always stubborn and refuse to listen what the other says...
That is why Max make his dad's life changed and want him to fight again for Atom! For me, Atom is really real boxer, and almost near the human-shape. Zeus is bigger than him. He still can be stand for Max and Charlie! I wondered if Atom can understand them or not?
What we do see of the fights is pretty awesome! They’re also given personality by their owners and handlers, the way they fight and the place where they fight, like they always share what they know when they be together on everyday.It's very great movie! You better to bring your dad to watch this movie!
